Daedric Armor – Skyrim

I’m a huge fan of Skyrim and spent hundreds of hours exploring the world, its story and collecting random and weird stuff. Skyrim has also and amazing art style and I love especially the Daedric Armor Set. As I travel quite a lot with my costumes though, I wanted to create a version that would be a little more lightweight and suitcase friendly. During my research I found a gorgeous looking armor mod and decided to create a more revealing version of the iconic set. I would love to link the artist, but the original mod design is sadly not available anymore.

I finished the Daedric Armor in in 2014 and made it mostly with Worbla and EVA foam. And even though the result was quite revealing, I think the original reference was still very recognizable. I’ve spent a ton of time creating the back plates and it’s a bit of a shame they are mostly not visible. Still, I’m really happy with the result and think the overall look is great. On top, I’ve also build the iconic Deadric Daggers in just a few days. At the end, everything fit perfectly into my suitcase and I was able to bring this costume to several international events. Find out more about how I made this Skyrim Cosplay in my blog!
