Raid Shadow Legends is a game full of amazing characters designs! They have over 600 champions and I was so excited when I was asked to bring one of them to life! Projects like these are just the best as I can pick something I’m really passionate about and fully embrace my creativity. And to be honest with you the choice was easy: My pick was the legendary Champion Valkyrie. She is a red-head warrior from the Barbarian fraction. Here armor is incredible detailed and I loved all those little, Nordic looking runes spread all over her design. In addition, she is wielding a massive sword and shield and these would be surely super fun to build.
I finished the Valkyrie cosplay from Raid in 2022. Benni and I worked for 2 months quite intensely on the costume and the sword and shield. To speed up the process, Benni actually used our laser cutter from Flux to cut out all details in 2 mm EVA foam. My main materials were here Black EVA foam , Worbla , faux leather and faux fur. As always, I’ve shared the whole process on my Instagram and my other social media channels. However, we also created two detailed cosplay crafting videos for our Youtube Channel!
The Valkyrie was clearly one of my most favorite cosplay I’ve ever created. I’m incredible proud how well this costume turned out and think it suits me pretty nicely as well! Hope I’ll get the chance to create more costume like this!
