Curly Witch Hat Pattern – Digital Download | PDF
Stylish Curly Witch Hat Pattern for any costume you want! Super easy to follow, can be resized individually and be used for as many projects as you want!
The hate designed to fit my own head at 56cm (22inch) circumference. However, this pattern includes a sizing chart on how to scale it to fit your own head.
I recommend using 5mm low or high density EVA foam (high density works too) as well as contact cement to create these pieces. Check out my blog entry for EVA foam armor to learn everything you need to know! It’s super easy and incredible fun to create a costume! Other materials (like Worbla) work as well of course!
You can find more instructions on how to make costume pieces and props in my tutorial books or on my YouTube channel.
This Curly Witch Hat Pattern is a digital PDF download. After your purchase you can directly download your document. I bought this pattern to make my partner the hat of his dreams for a local ren faire. The hat is a perfect hat for the rip off Big Hat Logan I did. I did accidentally cut the hat out of foam that was too stiff, but I ended up using some of the stiffer pieces for structure inside the hat. Trust yourself when you are putting it together, it doesn’t always seem like things are going to fit, but with a heat gun and some quality glue, the hat came together like a dream. I’ve actually made two now, and I’m planning on doing a fabric cover with the original pattern pieces, I’m just adding some seam allowance.
Thanks for the incredible pattern! This was the first time I’ve put something like this together, and it was a dream!!
