Description

This Foam Sword Pattern Collection is a digital PDF download. After your purchase you can directly download your document and print it out at home or any printing shop.

To print these files we recommend to use the poster print / tiled print option to print them over multiple pages. You can use the free Foxit PDF Reader or Adobe Acrobat. You’ll also find more useful printing instructions inside the downloaded file! There is also an optional pre-sliced version that you can print on both US letter and European A4 paper formats.

The Foam Sword Pattern Collection includes 4 different designs:

Basic Sword
Pirate Sword
Medieval Sword
Ninja Sword

Sword descriptions:

1. Basic Sword length: 80cm (31.5inch)
Materials required: 10mm EVA foam, round 30mm EVA foam dowel in 18cm (7.1 inch) length, a rod (fiberglass, PVC or wood) of 10mm thickness in 70cm (27.6 inch) length.

2. Pirate Sword length: 55.2cm (21.3inch)
Materials required: 10mm EVA foam, round 30mm EVA foam dowel in 12.5cm (4.9 inch) length, a rod (fiberglass, PVC or wood) of 10mm thickness in 40cm (15.8 inch) length.

3. Medieval Sword length: 89.2cm (35.1inch)
Materials required: 10mm EVA foam, round 30mm EVA foam dowel in 15.8cm (6.2 inch) length, a rod (fiberglass, PVC or wood) of 10mm thickness in 70cm (27.6 inch) length.

4. Ninja Sword length: 62.4cm (24.5 inch)
Materials required: 10mm, 5mm and 2mm EVA foam, round 20mm EVA foam dowel in 14.8cm (5.8 inch) length, a rod (fiberglass, PVC or wood) of 10mm thickness in 47cm (18.5 inch) length.

Tools required:
– Box cutter
– Contact Cement Glue
– Rotary Tool (Dremel) with a sanding drum tip. Not required but recommended.

These patterns can be rescaled but be aware that the material requirements will change if you deviate too much from the original size.
