Description
This is a pre-sliced and unsliced version of our LED Katana build. LED Katana 3D Model file does not include instructions on how to create this prop or costume piece. Instead please watch our building guide on Youtube: Wild Hearts LED Katana
We highly recommend to use white ABS to achieve the same translucent look as in our original build. We also used the following electronics for this project: addressable RGB LED strips (Neopixel) with 60 LEDs/m, a Feather M4 and a PropMaker Featherwing, a 4 Ohm / 3 Watt speaker, a side switch and a press button. All those products were purchased on Adafruit.com.
Also, check out The Book of 3D Printing if you want to learn more about 3D printing and sculpting. The Book of Lights & Sound Effects is also a great help to install the electronics and LEDs for this project.
The LED Katana 3D Model .stl files are scalable and can be used for every 3D printer.
