Sci-Fi Shoulder Armor Pattern – Digital Download | PDF
Example Video: How to work with my patterns to make a shoulder armor!
Shoulders are some of the most complicated patterns to make! Don’t worry though, I’m here to help! My Sci-Fi Shoulder Pattern can be easily scaled, altered or combined with others. Just use it as your starting point, then add more layers or details and give it your own spin! Print the patterns larger or smaller to fit your own body size.
I recommend using 5mm low or high density EVA foam as well as contact cement to create these pieces. Other materials work as well of course! Check out my blog entry for EVA foam armor to learn everything you need to know! It’s super easy and incredible fun to create a costume!
You can find more instructions on how to make costume pieces and props in my tutorial books or on my YouTube channel.

Sophie Capelle –
I really like this pattern, we used it for a Warhammer 40K armor set. However, due to the seams it was really hard getting the smooth, round shape. Since we used 10mm low-density foam (which I know was not what was used in the pictures), heat shaping was also more difficult and we had to dremel away quite a lot to get the smooth shape. I bet it would become smooth if you use the recommended material
