Demonic Brigitte – Overwatch/Diablo 3

Demonic Brigitte was a passion project that took me 1.5 years to completely. Most of my costumes are comparable comfy bikini armor outfits. However, I always wanted to go bigger and challenge myself with a truly massive project. The goal was to include a crazy full body armor, an amazing weapon combo and a ton of lights. In addition, I always wanted to bring Brigitte from Overwatch to life and add an own spin on her. Having this list in mind, I’ve talked to my good friend Zach Fischer and asked him for a custom cosplay design. The result was Demonic Brigitte, a mix of Brigitte from Overwatch wearing an armor inspired from Diablo.

This costume turned out to be the largest costume we’ve ever made! It’s completely made out of foam, includes over 1000 LEDs and took my husband and me forever to finish! And even though the crafting part was really intense, the real challenge was actually to stay motivated and focused for such a long period of time. It was mentally super draining and I struggled not being distracted by other projects. At the end I was just happy Demonic Brigitte was finally done. However, I guess I’ll stick with smaller and faster to finish costumes in the future.
