For the release of Diablo IV, Blizzard Entertainment asked me to bring a character from the game to life! I instantly fell in love with the new Necromancer design, as I really love the gothic style and armor sets of this class. In addition, I’m a huge fan of the Blizzard universe! In 20 years I created already almost 20 costumes from World of Warcraft, Diablo or Starcraft. Another cool project was the Barbarian from Diablo III for example! Therefore I was not only super excited for the release, but also working with Blizzard Entertainment in general! At the end I somehow got crafting super powers and was able to finish the whole costume in only 2 weeks!
To create all fabrics parts from scratch I mostly used faux leather and curtain fabric. I made all armor parts then made completely out of EVA foam. The weapon took me then only 3 days and I mostly used PVC pipes and foam as well. I’m really thankful for my husband Benni who did all the patterns for the weapon and armor.
