Patterns for a Viking Shield of 70cm (27.5inch) height. Vector files can be scaled to any desired size. This file contains a sizing chart that will show you exactly what scale you will need to get the size you need.

I recommend one layer of 10mm EVA foam for the main shield (one extra layer for stability if you want), 5mm for the rim and the arm strap, 10mm for the hand grip and 2mm for the details. Glue with contact cement.
