After finishing Tier 6 and Tier 8, my Druid Tier 9 Cosplay was the last of my Druid projects from World of Warcraft. It was already my 5th armor set and slowly felt like it’s enough for a while now. However, I really wanted to bring something new to Blizzcon and really liked the design of this specific armor set. As already had quite some experience though, it took me now far less time to create the costume. Instead of months, I finished this one within 4 weeks in 2011!
Just as with my previous projects, I’ve stick with expanding foam, paper mache, furniture leather and faux fur. I think, this was also one of the reasons why I stopped making these costumes. Everything just felt pretty similar and I was missing the challenge. So finally, Druid Tier 9 became my very last one, even though I was still considering from time to time to do another one. But sometimes to have to let things go. And who knows, maybe I’ll do a further Druid one day again! Also, my favorite class is still a Nightelf Druid by the way.
